culture and traditions are held together for the language we speak and the food we eat. for the diversity, we grew to have rich food habits and rich languages. maintaining the diversity is very important. 

for a very long period of time, we worked to grow diversity. human kind kept investing in enrichment, celebration and honoring different cultures as it allowed us to strengthen our intelligence.

the concept of diversity is important in agriculture as well. the field that produces food should have diverse ecosystem, helping the microbiota.

cultural traditions embody ancient wisdom. ancient wisdoms are well thought out, tried out. consumption of local, regional foods, combinations of foods, how to eat the food, when to eat the food, how to gain the medicinal properties, develop liking for foods, are ingrained in cultural traditions.
